The Last Messiah

crypticdrew An excellent album with apparent influence from some of the best early death metal bands. The songs play like a mix of Death (instrumentally) and Carcass (vocally) with some additional prog vibes, particularly in the last two tracks and the overall length of the songs. A great mix of elements. I only wish the lyrics were published so listeners could see the specific presentation of the compelling lyrical themes. Favorite track: Already Dead.

about

Corpse Stain New York, New York

Torn from the fetid womb of downtown NYC, CORPSE STAIN is a death metal band whose focus is existentialism, metaphysics, and antinatalism. Not even death can heal the scars of life. Better never to have been.
